More Summer Fun

Well, if you will be around Memorial Day Weekend this might interest you. Celia Mason in the Memphis First Ward passed this on:

Third Annual Children’s Theatre Festival
at McCoy Theatre and grounds!! (On Rhodes College Campus I believe)

May 23 and 24.
DO NOT MISS IT!!! BRING YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR GRANDCHILDREN, YOUR NEIGHBOR CHILDREN, YOURSELF!! Just a hint of what is happening…

Friday May 23 ($10 a person)
6 – 7 pm– picnic on the grounds with strolling entertainers from

7pm – Pandora’s Box and other Greek tales!!

8 pm – Watoto de Afrika ( for the younger set)

Saturday May 24 (pay what you can!!!)

I am only listing a few events, but there are stories and music and workshops all day!!!

10 am – Aesop’s Fables

11 am – Music for Aardvarks

3 pm – New Ballet Ensemble - Peter and the Wolf

Outdoors you can catch:

James and the Gaint Peach at 11:30 am

The Little Prince at 4:30

There will be mimes, singers, clowns, story tellers! Adults performing for children, children performing for children – MAGIC!

Friday evening is $10 a person, but it will be worth it!

Saturday is pay what you can for the entire day!!!!
